Summary:

In the thesis, the models used to perform Undo process are introduced and a Selective Undo Model which is considered to be the most effective is designed and implemented, using Java programming language. Through the process of designing the Undo model, first, a collection of commands that is frequently submitted in a Shell environment is constructed, and then the model was applied to this collection of commands. Using Java, it was provided that the developed model has got a general use and needs no manipulation to port to any operating system.
