In this thesis, Zigbee based wireless sensor networks were studied in three different scenarios comparatively. OPNET simulation software is usedin each three scenarios. In first scenario, performances of 9 sub fictions in star topologic structure were compared. It was exposed by this scenario that the most ideal star topologic fiction with determinated dimensions is 16 nodular structure. In second scenario, this 16 nodular star fiction were examined with router supported mesh and tree topologic alignments. So that, performances of each three topologies were compared on same nodule numbers. In the end of this second scenario, it was observed that mesh topologic fiction has better performance. In third scenario, impacts of routing techniques inspiredby each three different topologies were examined in a network with wider dimensions and more nodule numbers. It was occured that mesh routing fiction has a better success of performance inside of three used fiction techniques as star, mesh and tree. Thus, in the light of optained results, some suggestions were introduced about planning and developing of zigbee sensor networks.
