Summary:

      The issue of security has kept its importance at every stage of technological developments. Many different cryptographic algorithms, which emerged as a result of the studies carried out in order to increase the security, have started to be used within software applications. In addition to these developments, which are generally related to software, new chips in hardware are also a part of the technology ecosystem. Hardware security has also gained importance with the introduction of these chips into the ecosystem.

In the first part of the study, after giving general information about the Trusted Platform Module (TPM), which is one of the chips in question, the cryptographic methods it uses are examined. Then, the RSA algorithm, which is thought to be developed among these methods, is studied. At the end of the studies, the use of multiprime RSA is suggested.

      In the second part of the study, lightweight RSA developed with the changes made on the RSA algorithm and the contribution of these changes to the performance of the hardware device are presented. It has been seen that the proposed method both increases security and provides acceleration for the areas where the RSA algorithm is used.
