      Herbarium materials were used to determine the morphological features whereas fixation ones were used for anatomical investigations. At the anatomical studies, cross section were taken from stems of S. chrysantha, S. scopolii var. adenocalyx, S. olympica, S. sosnowskyi, S. canina taxa breadthly. From the leaves of taxa, cross section were taken not only breadthly but also superficialy. After the permanent slides were prepared from cross section, they were used for anatomical studies.

      The compared anatomy of the taxa determined in this study was investigated firstly and some morphological and anatomical diferences were found. It was seen that the presence and absence of idioblasts at the leaf mesophyl was an imported difference.
