      In this study, developing new plasmid DNA isolation kits were aimed. On this occasion, various materials were used from Trabzon area.

      These materials brought to the laboratory from the natural environment, firstly were washed, and then, sterilized, and prepared as DNA binding matrixes. Fresh cultures of bacterial cells were prepared, after that, grown cells were lysed. DNA in cleared lysate was allowed to bind to DNA matrix. The mixture was washed, and plasmid DNA was eluted from the matrix. Matrixes which are efficient for plasmid isolation were determined. Finally, DNA quantities of the plasmid yields were measured.
