Summary:

In this study, done in bulancak Borough of Giresun Province, 61 taxa of Bryophyta identified. Among them 6 taxa (Bryum radiculosum Brid., Campylium stellatum var. protensum (Brid). Bryhn., Grimmia rectracta Stirt., Isotheciun holtii Kindb., Racomitrium heterostichum (Hedw.) Brid., Rhynchostegium murale (Hedw.) Br. Eur.) are new for A4 grid-square which is adopted by Henderson.

The families which the richest species with high taxon number are as follows; Brachytheciaceae (12), Pottiaceae (7), Grimmiaceae (6), Polytrichaceae (4), Bryaceae (4).

The richest genera on account of number of taxa are; Dicranum (3), Barbula (4), Grimmia (3), Racomitrium (3), Bryum (3), Mnium (3), Homolothecium (3), Brachythecium (4), Hypnum (5).
