Summary: In this study, morphological and anatomical properties of three native Viburnum L. (Caprifoliaceae) species (V. lantana L., V. opulus L., V. orientale Pallas) distributed in Turkey were examined. Examined specimens were collected in vegetation periods of plants in 2004. Collected specimens were stored as herbarium and fixation materials in further examination. Morphological examinations were performed on herbarium materials; anatomical examination were made on section taken from stored material of stem and leaves. As a result of comperative observation; some important difference were determined in the leaf and stem anatomy among examined species. These difference are as following; cork thickness of stem, existence or nonexistence of syclerancyhma fibers and sclereids and its distributions in the stem cortex, shapes of palisade cells and epidermal trichomes in the leaves.
