| Summary: The main aim of this study is defining The Moss flora of Turnasuyu valley. During the study, several field trip were organized to the research area in different seasons in 2012-2013. After the examining of collected about 200 specimens from 15 stations, 126 taxa identified which belong to 63 genus in 31 family. Among them 2 taxa; Plagiothecium neckeroideum Schimp. and Thamnobryum neckeroides (Hook.) E. Lawton, are recorded first time for Moss Flora of Turkey. Also Brachythecium capillaceum (F.Weber & D.Mohr is being recorded second time for Turkey. In addition, 42 taxa (specific and infraspecific) for A3 square and 14 taxa (specific and infraspecific) for A4 square regarded as the new records according to Henderson (1961) Grid System for Turkey. In the floristic list, all taxa are systematically presented with distributions in Turkey and in the world and also localities and preferred substrates. |
