Summary: Molecular analysis of 9 Anoxybacillus species isolated from different regions was carried out based on sequence similarity of the genes recN, flaA and ftsY. Genomic DNA’s of the bacteria Anoxybacillus flavithermus, Anoxybacillus kestanbolensis, Anoxybacillus ayderensis, Anoxybacillus pushchinoensis, Anoxybacillus voinovskiensis, Anoxybacillus gonensis, Anoxybacillus contaminans, Anoxybacillus kamchatkensis and Anoxybacillus amylolyticus was isolated by the procedure of Sambrook et all. ( 1989). Based on available genom sequences in Genbank, the consensus primersgenotypic methods. The gene ftsY was investigated for it’s G + C content. A mean difference of 1,4% was observed between the G + C content of the gene ftsY and the G + C content of the whole genome. These results showed that the gene ftsY can be used to represent whole G + C content of a bacteria. Keywords: Anoxybacillus, recN, ftsY, flaA, PCR. |
