Summary:

Analytical solution to boundary value of problem that associated with the electromagnetic radiation and scattering phenomena may not give the correct result precisely at all times. Since such analytical solutions are feasible to the only limited class of the problems, the more general solutions based upon numerical computation techniques that can be applied to all types of the problems are generated. The moment method is one of the numerical solution techniques.

Of the many approaches available for the formulation of the electromagnetic radiation and scattering problems, the integral equation method appears to be the one most conveniently adaptable to computer solution. The moment method is one of numerical analysis methods used in the solutions of the integral equation.

In this study, cylindrical dipole antennas and array of dipole antennas in varied configuration is analyzed by means of the piecewise sinusoidal Galerkins method in specialization of the genaral method of moments. In this research, it is aimed to find the characteristics as current distribution, input impedance, radiation pattern or gain. A computer program for every analysis is performed seperately and by combining this programs, the package software is created.
