Summary: In this thesis study, a Fuzzy Logic Control for Linear Induction Motor (LIM) is realized. In the first chapter, LIMs construction, applications and types are presented. Reasons which affect LIMs efficiency are examined. The fuzzy logic method, which is used in LIM control, is presented. In the second chapter, a Single Sided Linear Induction Motor design is done and also mathematical parameters, which are necessary for a simulation, are obtained by making tests on the model. In the third chapter, the characteristic waveforms of the Single Sided Linear Induction Motor with end and without end effect are obtained by the simulation method. The Single Sided Linear Induction Motor velocity control is done by using Fuzzy Logic method. Key Words: Linear Induction Motor, Fuzzy Logic, End Effect
