| Summary: In this thesis, it have dealed with sea inside parameters, the noise which occurs in the sea, the noise which occurs because of the wind which blows above the sea and rain which drops surface of the sea and attenuations of seawater. Those kinds of noises can change channel profile. Especially salinity of seawater, temperature of seawater and the wind speed which blows above the sea had been studied on and then depth of water column, depth of transmitter, depth of receiver and the horizontal distance between transmitter and receiver had been studied on. So that performance (BER-SNR) of the system has been computed. Data transmission efficiency graphs which depend on parameters which depend on the noises which affect the acoustic data transmission have been drawn. An underwater acoustic communication performance comparison is done between seas of Turkey.
