Summary:

      The most important technology which provides to communcation without selecting time and space is undoubtedly the satellite communications. The satellite communications are used in our phone conversation, in the provision of television broadcast, in data access to internet, in target tracking in the military field. The antenna position control systems whose tracking accuracy is high are used in the provision of these communications.

In this study, the mechanical and electrical equations of the DC Motor is obtained by deriving the transfer function. Control methods are studied broadly. PID controllers, the fuzzy logic controller and sliding mode controller is explained with examples. The antenna position control system is designed and PID, fuzzy logic controller and sliding mode controller is applied that system. Simulation results are compared and the most appropriate control method is determined. Precision and accuracy in the orientation of the antenna is increased. The angular deviation is minimized by the designed control system.
