| Summary: The development of international trade and moving production sites to the regions that labour is cheap lead to increase transportation distances of raw materials and products. The increased transportation and challenging competitive condition make logistics costs more important every day. Logistics centres that eliminate redundant transportation with clustering effects reduce logistics costs, provide effective and fast logistics services to the companies and reduce inner city traffic congestion. All around the word interest in logistics centres is increasing due to the advantages it provides. In Turkey, logistic centres supported by public institutions are also being established. One of the most important decision problems that arise with the establishment of the logistics centres is the location selection of the logistics centres. In this study, a location selection model is proposed for the logistics centres that are planned to be established in Turkey. In the developed model, eight goals related with the establishment purposes of the logistics centres were determined and the provinces which are suitable for logistic centre establishment in Turkey have been determined by using the Goal Programming technique.
