Summary:

Mass attenuation coefficients of different solid state (nonreacted agent, calcined and sintered) of YBa_2Cu_3O_7 and Bi_(1,7)Pb_(0,3)Sr_2Ca_2Cu_3O_(10) superconductors, Y_2O_3, BaCO_3, CuO, Bi_2O_3, PbO, SrO_3 ve CaO compounds, and Ca, Cu, Sr, Y, Ba, Pb ve Bi elements have been determined at 57,5, 59,5, 65,2, 74,8, 77,1, 87,3, 94,6, 98,4, 122 ve 136 keV energies.

The samples have been irradiated with 59,5 keV photons, emerged from (241)^Am, and 122, 136 keV from (57)^Co radiactive sources. Also, superconductor samples have been excited with TaK_(α1), TaK_(β1), BiK_(α2), BiK_(α1), BiK_(β1), UK_(α2) and UK_(α1) X-rays (57,5, 65,2, 77,1, 74,8, 87,3, 94,6 ve 98,4 keV energies) from Ta, Bi_2O_3 and (CH_3COO)_2UO_22H_2O secondary sources which were irradiated by (57)^Co. Photons passed through from the samples have been counted with a Si(Li) dedector, whose resolution is 0,16 keV at 5,9 keV, using multichannel analyzer system.

The effective atomic numbers and electron densities of different solid state of YBa_2Cu_3O_7 and Bi_(1,7)Pb_(0,3)Sr_2Ca_2Cu_3O_(10) superconductor samples have been calculated using the values of the mass attenuation coefficient of these samples obtained from the experiments, and compared with theoretical values. In the comparision, it has been shown that there are good agreement with experimental and theoretical values.
