Summary: In this study, K to L shell vacancy transfer probabilities have been calculated for elements in the atomic region 52 <= Z <= 68. The vacancies in the K and L shell were created by 59.5 keV &-rays from an Am-241 radioactive source. The emitted x-rays were counted using a Si(Li) dedector with resolution 147 eV at 5.89 keV. As a result, it was found that the vacancy transfer probabilities are decreasing with the increasing atomic number. The obtained values in this study, have been compared with the theoretical values.
