Summary: In this study, chemical effects on K and L shell fluorescence cross-sections and yields, K, L X-rays intensity ratios of Hf compounds were investigated. The samples were excited by 123,6 keV γ-rays emitted from (57)^Co radioisotope source. K and L X-rays emitted from samples were counted by means of Ultra-LEGe detector which has the resolution 150 eV at 5,9 keV.In intensity ratios, it was observed that L_γ/L_α intensity ratio was affected mostly due to chemical structure. In addition, it was determined K and L shells fluorescence yields and cross-sections are affected by chemical structure. Measured results are comparatively given with the theoretical and experimental results of the other researchers.
