Summary:

Data have been collected regularly from previously determined stations in Rize and its towns. The spectrums obtained in the measurements were analyzed by the programme Genie–2000. First, we determined the average level of natural gamma radyoactivity of (238)^U, (232)^Th, (137)^Cs, (40)^K radioactivite nuclides in Rize and its towns. Then, activity level and absorbed dose equivalence of the radionuclides were calculated.
