Summary: In this work, the nuclear structures of 230-234Pa and 241-244Cm nuclei are investigated in semi-microscopic approach by using the Cassini ovaloid shape parametrization. The ground state properties of Pa and Cm nuclei are emphasized. Average values of various nuclear properties of these nuclei are calculated on average by the liquid drop model. In general, semi-microscopic approach can give a good description of the isotopes of Pa and Cm nuclei. First and second minima, saddle point, fissility and equilibrium deformation parameters of these Pa and Cm isotopes are determined as a function of deformation parameters of an axially deformed Wood-Saxon potential. The nuclear properties calculated for Pa and Cm nuclei are in a good agreement with the experimental values.
