Summary:

      In this study, 27 different brands white A4 papers with 80g/m2 and 210x297mm size; white paper, copied paper and ash into pellets have been analyzed using EDXRF (Epsilon5, PANalytical) system. As a result of the analysis obtained element concentration values for paper samples in ppm and Pearson Correlation relations with SPSS have been calculated.

Mainly Ca, Al, Si in white paper; Ca, Fe, Al in copied paper; Ca, Si, Al in ash into pellets have been detected with analysis studies, respectively. Furthermore; Pb, Zn, Hg, Co, Ni, Br elements which have important effects on human health and environmental pollution were detected in significant proportion of the samples. The most strong relations between the element concentrations for white and copied paper are Zn-Fe; for ash into pellets considerable relations could not been detected.

      If the obtained values with this study are looked carefully, changing the content of paper is seen considerably. The new studies should be made with different samples groups.
