Summary: In this study, sea sediment samples taken from 16 different locations in the Eastern Black Sea Region were investigated for heavy metals and radioactivity analysis. This analysis has been performed using EDXRF (Epsilon5, PANalytical) system and a HPGe semiconductor detector (Ortec). As a result of the analysis, Mg, Al, Si, S, Cl, K, Ca, Ti ve Fe (% by weight) and V, Cr, Mn, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Br, Rb, Sr, Zr, Ba, Pb (ppm by weight) elements were founded. The Enrichment Factors (EF) and Jeo-Accumulated index (Igeo) values were calculated from the element concentration results. Besides, the Pearson Correlation relations with SPSS have been calculated from the concentration values. The results of radioactivity analysis, 232Th, 226Ra, 137Cs and 40K radioactive isotopes released from the samples were also found.Key Words:Sediment, EDXRF, Gamma Spectroscopy, correlation
