Summary:

In our country, consisting of layers of pavement deformation to occur quickly, using of modifiers in bituminous mixtures is thought to be benefical in reducing deformation. As a result of this, the economy is expected to contribute.

The ultimate purpose of this study is to use different additions for better mixtures performance and bituminous binder.

Investigated in this study, the effect of using slaked lime, cement and pr plast on asphalt pavement and on selected samples using of Marshall rates which is method of performance evaluation, working to identify the effect of contributions to the performance of hot mix asphalt.

In this study, for slaked lime, cement was reduced filler ratio through the modifiers step by step, 1, 1.5, 2, 3 and 5 percent, as for Pr plast was produced the mixture rate of 0.3% and 0.6% alternate mixtures.

72 identical briquettes was produced at the optimum bitumen. Half of briquettes, was repeatedly exposed to water damage and was realized to condition.

Based on this datas, conclusions has been reached slaked lime and cement can be used as a active filler and as pr plast is can be used as a modifier to strengthening the mixture.
