| Summary: In this thesis, comprasion of construction methods of the marine outfall structures are investigated. For this purpose, first as marine environment, the characteristics of wastewater and wastewater into the sea before purified applied in this basic operations, discharge parameters and water quality standards, the forces acting on the pipe due to the flow and waves, stability calculations of discharge pipelines have been described. In the other part of the study is practiced today marine outfall pipe settlement methods where the circumstances under which these methods are applicable for pipe types and which are claimed to be most appropriate method.
