| Summary: Construction sector is a business that operates many works above-ground or underground and above or under the water in order to meet the needs of the people. Because of the wide working area of construction sector, some problems inevitably occur. One of the most important problems is related to occupational health and safety (OHS). The construction sector is one of the most occupational accidents occur in all sectors and often it (construction sector) is in the first place in terms of the number of fatal accidents at work. In this case, the work safety exhibit more of priority in this sector. In this study, the employees profiles are analyzed and their ideas on the OHS are investigated for the effective trainings on OHS which is introduced in the law of the OHS, No 6331. For this purpose, 32 questions were asked to 398 employees in 30 different sites. Statistical analysis of the data obtained was carried out by using SPSS 22 software. In the analysis, frequency distribution of the data were examined and cross tables and chi-square tests were used for determination of relationship between coupled parameters. The results were evaluated via frequency tables and pie charts. According to the investigated data, the labours which will have the Occupational Health and Safety Trainings show variables because of the education, knowledge, experience… etc. Therefore, trainings shouldnt taken be place in the same group, labours should have been trained in different groups according to the appropriate education models.
