Summary:

      The modernism and development of cities should be determined by not only land view but also existence, quality and reachable of the infrastructure facilities which is contributed and supported to the land view. Unless infrastructure works are applied in parallel with the current requirements and the future superstructure profile of the city, the serious problems can be available and result of this the city life is affected negatively. In our country, the result of internal migrations and population growth, our cities developed without planning and exposed to infrastructure issues. The limited natural and economical sources and ways was not enough to the solution of these issues. Also, since the information of technical urban infrastructure facilities are not as expected standards, the issues increase more and more. It is required that original, current and reachable information should be available and the infrastructure information system should be established in city for applying modern, fast and constant infrastructure facilities to people living in cities. Although some works are available, it is clear that those are insufficient.

In this study, it is searched that the condition of technical infrastructure works, the institutions works responsible for urban infrastructure facilities and the currency issues in Turkey. It is found out that the works applied by some of the technical institutions of infrastructure facilities and the current application issues especially in big cities. In addition to this, the questionnaire is applied according to some of the technical infrastructure institutions. The information based on the questionnaire is analyzed in the statistic program SPSS 10.0. Also, in a pilot district some works are applied depending on technical infrastructure based information system with the information and other data obtaining the result of the field works concerned about technical infrastructure facilities. In this study, the technical infrastructure facilities maps are produced. Conclusion, it is determined that obtain the spatial information of TAT and requirements of establishment of the 3D infrastructure information system.
