Summary: The concept of Digital Elevation Model (DEM), which is simply defined as the digital representation of the topography, has become an important product in surveying, civil engineering and many other disciplines. DEM was for the first time used in 1950s by Prof. Miller and the development in the computer software and hardware has been increased the use of digital elevation models. There are different methods to make up digital elevation models. In this study interpolation methods and Delaunay triangulations have been used. To predict height values of grid points were used interpolation methods below:• Interpolation with polynomials • Multiquadric interpolation In this study, by using four interpolation methods have been formed digital elevation models for two surfaces. The volume calculation results of obtained from digital elevation models have been examined advantages and disadvantages of interpolation methods by comparing with each other. Key words: Digital Elevation Models, Interpolation with Weighted Average, Interpolation with Polynomials, Linear Least Squares Interpolation Multiquadric Interpolation, Volume Calculation.
