Summary:

      Nowadays, in accordance with advancing technology orthophoto images produced from satellite images and aerial photos have been commonly used. Orthophoto images are more advantageous than classical methods in terms of production and cost. Since these images gain from time and cost, they are preferred by different disciplines such as architecture applications, urban planning, modelling of urban environment characteristics.

      Increasing population growth leads to a rapid change in urban, which makes development in urban difficult to curb. Satellite images and aerial photos enable to access actual data by facilitating following of urban development. Therefore, dynamic urban which can be examined as actual are formed.

      In this study, accuracies of orthophoto obtained from aerial photo and satellite images, and the effect several factors on accuracy such as images features, digital elevation model, control points have been investigated. Consequently, monitored of urban development by using orthophoto images and development plan, ensured of controlled urban development by determining unlawful building in a short time have been aimed and dynamic urban model providing a base for geography information system has been obtained by forming three dimensional urban model.
