      Significance of ownership in Turkey is increasing day by day by the improvements in capital flows and the influence of information technologies. Our country makes the determination and registration processes in real estate which are done under guarantee of government more irrevocable. However, our country is still trying to complete the cadastral work, having some problems caused by the insufficencies of covering and content while in the process of allying European Union. It is an unacceptable situation in our country that cadastral information is insufficient while mega projects started to be talked and applied. That is why, Turkey cadastre needs to be revised with consideration of the developments in the world. Presentation of problems of cadastral practices with the support of operators that occurs in our country, and supporting directed to redetermination of covering and content of it in view of the opportunities of today are aimed in this thesis study. In the end, it was concluded that cadastral practices which are used in solving problems are insufficient, location data which are attained through cadastral work meet the expectations of public institutions, private sector and citizens only partially, and it is needed to make the initial works of education of cadastral practices which is given by a professional comission.
