| Summary: Our country is constantly developing and new roads are being added to the transportation network.Expropriation needs to be carried to out in order to implement these roads through the project phase. Expropriation is a self-made procedure by state or legal entities. However, there are conflicts with citizens on the prices of real estate price. The dispute over the real estate prices is one of the most important problems of the expropriation process.As the agreement between citizens and the management can not be reached,the issue is brought to court. In this thesis study, valuation process in highways expropriation is examined through a sample intersection expropriation dossier. In the scope of this project, value maps were prepared by giving information about administration and court values. Expert reports were examined and the problems were determined.Solution proposals for problems are presented.
