Summary: Asset management is an area that has gained importance both in the world and in our country in recent years and new policies have been developed on it. Asset management with three standardsfirst published by ISO in 2014 is based on certain international rules. Updates on the standards, newly published and to be published standards reveal that the subject is open to continuousdevelopment and that these developments need to be followed. Asset management, which has applications in many sectors internationally, is designed according to the needs of institutions andorganizations and the assets within them. The need for management systems based on obtaining the lowest cost, least risk and highest performance over assets is increasing day by day. In addition, associating assets with their current locations and conducting spatial analyzes on assets is a subject that is necessary in terms of asset management and requires new solutions. Asset management hasfound its place in the strategic plans of institutions in our country and in the Eleventh Development Plan published recently. Accordingly, it is aimed to establish a preventive maintenance-repairorientedasset management system across the transportation and logistics sector. In line with this goal, a study was carried out on the design of a maintenance and risk oriented asset managementsystem for airline transportation, which is one of the lower branches of the transportation sector. Trabzon Airport, the most active and busy airport of the Black Sea Region, was chosen as the pilotstudy area. Within the scope of this thesis, an application has been made on the basis of maintenance management and risk management, which are two of the asset managementcomponents. The study conducted in the sense of care management and the verbal data on periodic control and care contained in the instructions and guidelines were associated with the assets and thelocations of the assets. Estimated surface maps were obtained from the study in terms of risk management. Areas that pose risk through these surface maps were revealed and statistical analyzeswere carried out showing how spatially significant the risks identified by the airport directorate were.KeyWords: ISO 55001, asset management, maintenance management, risk management, estimated..surface..map |
