Summary:

       In the recent years, high technology on the computer science provides the interpretation of the geological and geophysical data more accurate and more fast using newly developed interpretation softwares in a interactive computer enviroment. By using these interpretation packages in the interactive computer enviroment seismic trace attributes and colored image techniques were applied to tje seismic traces in the study area. Results from this application were used to investigated hydcarbon potential and tectono-stratigraphic features of the Migo area.

Application of the seismic attributes, image techniques and color contrast to the seismic traces in this study area the information more clear which is included in the seismic data.

       Migo area which is located in the northern part of the Arabian plate carries the traces from the collision of the Anatolian and Arabian plates. Faults and fault related petroluem structure are presented in this study area. Because of its being on the folding belt of these two collided plates.
