The scope of this work is enhance the performance of MDFs with using MUF having different U/F mol rates and several functional additives. The type of additive, addition amount, mixing sequence of all ingredients, and density of product were studied. Additionally, dimensional stability, free formaldehyde values, hygroscopic and mechanical properties were investigated.
