| Summary: It was observed that, Müzret coal was cleaned considerably by oil agglomeration process. In other words, a clean coal with low ash and pyritic sulphur contents was produced. A clean coal with an ash content of 8.92% and pyritic sulphur content of 0.78%, was produced with a organic matter recovery of 58.66% from Müzret coal with an ash content of 21.49% and pyritic sulphur content of 5.26%, on dry basis. It was also observed that, all parameters mentioned above, especially, coal content, kerosene content and amount of washing water, affected the recovery of agglomeration process and coal quality.
