      In this study, a simulation model is established, to deal with the congestion to take place in the Trabzon port if capacity is increased rexperiments have been made on this model and result were analysed statistically.

      It is concluded that the port is operated in less capacity when the data received from the model and the port date are compared. For this purpose, initially, the operation of the port was inspected in case of full capacity. As a result of the work of the model, it is noticed that the loading and unloading time and queues have increased. Therefore, vinches are added to the port as a second trial. After running the model for this situation, the gueues and loading-unloading time is decreased. In this study, experiments took place by changing precedent strategies, and no change is noticed. Packet program (Awesim) is used to established this simulation and experiments are run on this model.

      As a result of the experiments, it is noticed that the loading-unloading vehicles are insufficient in case the port operated in full capacity, and suggestions are made this respect.
