Summary: In this study, AA 5754H22 and AA7075T651 aluminum alloys are joined in the butt manner by using friction stir welding process. Welding process is realized by fixing thestirring pin design, the speed of rotating tool and the angle of tool, however the different travel speeds and tool impress forces are applied. The joined samples were investigated bythe methods of micro hardness, metallographic and tensile test. Results of this study indicate that AA5754H22 and AA7075T651 aluminum alloys were successfully joined byfriction stir welding. In this assessment, although not much change has occurred on the values of tensile stress and hardness depending on the amount of impress force, somediversity was observed in the fraction mechanism.
