In the numerical part of the work, the flow fields at the inclination angle θ = 15 °, 30 ° and 45° are numerically solved in the range of 0.5 ≤ H / W ≤ 6 plates for the 20000 values of Reynolds number. Two dimensional numerical solutions were made with FLUENT software. The Kato Launder modification of the standard k epsilon and k omega turbulence models was used as the turbulence model in the numerical study. The calculated flow areas, pressure distributions and Nusselt distributions are obtained from two dimensional numerical solutions respectively. Secondary peaks are formed in the Nusselt distributions when at small inclination angles of confinement plate and small spacing between plates. In the H/W≤1 spacings, Nusslet numbers at the ends of the impinging plate are increased again. The standard k-epsilon turbulence model calculates the pressure distributions and the standard k-omega model calculates the Nusselt distributions closer to the experimental data.
