Summary:

      In this thesis, we have analyzed the finite element and boundary element coupling solution of the MHD duct flow problem around a conducting solid and inside an unbounded conducting medium. Firstly, the numerical solution of interior and exterior Laplace equations and MHD duct equations are considered. Then, the most general form of the proposed problem is solved numerically with finite element and boundary element coupling approach by using the finite element method in the duct domain and the boundary element method on the external region. Proposed formulation is tested for different values of the problem parameters and obtained solutions are analyzed.
