Summary:

This thesis deals with the reliability analysis of computer systems. The concept of reliability provides important advantages due to continuity of the service in the computer network systems, reduction of maintenance and repair works and economy of the system design.

In this work, basic reliability definitions are reviewed and various algorithms calculating reliability of the system are examined.

Computer programme is developed for computing reliability of the network systems. This programme computes reliability parameter of the network systems by using minimal paths algorithm. Multipling connection matrix method is used to find minimal paths of the system. Programme is developed with Visual Basic 6.0.

In addition, internet programme is developed to computing reliability of the designed systems.
