Summary:

In the thesis, some basic notions of operator algebras are considered; the nuclear C*- algebras are investigated.

In first chapter, basic definitions, properties and examples about normed spaces, Banach spaces, Bilbert spaces, Banach algebras, Banach *- algebras and C*- algebras are given.

In second chapter, the tensor products of modules, Banach spaces and C*- algebras are described. Moreover, the nuclear C*- Algebras are described. Finally, we investigate whether the finite dimensional C*- algebras and abelian C*- algebras are nuclear C*- algebras or not.
