Summary:

In this study, a reaction-convection and diffusion type population model was

developed. for analyzing population of some neighboring local regions. The model

enhances the existing models, considering immigrations across neighboring locations, due

to differences in productivity. This model has been tested on several local regions in

Turkey with population data from TUIK(Turkish Statistical Institute).The results show that

the predicted populations comply with the real data.
