Summary:

Aim of this study is to give a construction method to obtain a t- norm on the bounded lattice L from the t- norms on subintervals of bounded lattice L, is to compare the mentioned method with the available methods in the literature and is to generalize this method.

This study consists of two main parts. In Chapter 1, some definitions and theorems which are the basis of our study are given. In Chapter 2, a method to obtain a t- norm on the bounded lattice L from the t- norms on the subintervals [0,a_1 ], [a_1,1] of bounded lattice L is given at first. This method is compared with the existing methods and the differences are presented with examples. Moreover, this method is generalized.
