Summary:

Climatic comfort can be described as the condition in which people do not feel discomfort when they are under the effects of interior climatic components at certain values. Providing climatic comfort depends on the values that the interior climatic components have. If the interior climatic components have values below or above the required values that provide the comfort conditions, they affect the interior climate negatively and hence cause various diseases on human health. One of the interior climatic components determining the climatic comfort is humidity. Humidity is affected by both interior and exterior factors and building shell, and hence it takes different values. The regions which have warm-humid climatic characteristics have the most intense humidity.

The aim of this study is to create a computer program that will be a guide by showing the effects of the intense humid on the interior climate of buildings in the warm-humid regions; that will function as a decision-maker for the principles and resolutions to be created for the architectural designs and applications related to the subject; and that will be utilized by designers and users.

This study consists of the following sections: General Information, Works Done, Findings and Discussion, and Conclusions and Recommendations.

The General Information section contains the aims and scope of the study, and the notions and explanations related to the topic.

The Works Done, Findings and Discussion section explains the method used for the creation of a computer program, and the applicability of the computer program by the designers and users with examples.

The Conclusions and Recommendations section presents the conclusions and recommendations. By using the

computer program, designers and users will obtain the necessary information which will help them keep the level of humidity within comfort limits in the houses they design or own once they enter the data related to the humidity.
