Summary:

      In this study, noise reduction of barriers placed between machines having various noise levels is evaluated in ateliers performed studies for different goals at industrial buildings. Multilayer, different thickness and materials, limited dimensions plane, L and U forms of barriers were investigated and evaluated in extend of this study.

This study contains four selections as a general information, materials and method, results and discussion, conclusion and suggestions.

      In general information selection; the aim and extend of study were explained and it was given information about noise controlling. Also, it was given required theoritical information for constitution of computer model using to obtain noise reduction due to being scatter from corners of impervious plane form barriers as to mass law.

In materisl and methods section; it was described the method of study, it was determined conditions and assumptions to calculate values of noise reduction for impervious plane form barriers and set up the computer program. Also, it was explaned how to set up the experimental study in HITAS Company in Arsin Industrial Complex in Trabzon, plane, L and U forms of multilayer barriers were explained, it was explained measurements technicals and given the experimental results.

      Results and discussion selection; obtained values of noise reduction from experiments were compared for each sitution depend on the properties; materials used in barriers, barrier dimension and form, location of receiver and noise source. In addition, experimental and theritical results were compared for impervious barriers.

Conclusion and suggestion section; Extended summary about acoustic properties of barriers using in industrial building was presented and obtained conclusions were given.
