Summary:

This research is planned for examining and discussing this identicality of personal traits with building properties. In the introduction while expounding on the definitions of character, personality and personal identity, main theories and concepts transpiring in this field are discussed. In the first chapter creative personality profile that improves by the creative thought is studied and architectural identity and its classifications are rendered.

In the second chapter, in order to determine the architect-character connections, four buildings from eight architects, so thirty two buildings altogether are and tested by a semantic differential guestionnaire which contains twelve adjectives. The results are shown in tables. The architects who are chosen for this study are as follow;
