| Summary: The glued laminated timber used for structural purpose, made by connecting wooden layers which are prepared, classified and choused at suitable stable standard with proper connector, are products which its resistance degree are checked. The changes about wooden materials has reached an exciting point. The usage of wooden materials decreased because of several reasons and high price. But the tendency of usage wooden materials has changed from using solid wood to using wood veneer lumber and then to use wooden based materials which its timber quality has been improved. The glued timber, first used by Hetzer, has reached wide using areas with the help of improved plastic glues after II. World War.This material, produced by pressing it under certain temperature, has become popular in architecture field as a result of being highly resistant to burning, showing highly resistance to water and steam, being light and etc., has widely come into operation in architecture field. In this study, it is intended to introduce the facilities of using the glued laminated timber material and the glued laminated timber structural systems.In the chapter of general information’s, the aim and the extend of the study are explained and some general information’s are stated about wooden construction materials and industrial timber stuffs. In the chapter of operations, the glued laminated timber which is already the subject of this study is dealt with in detail. In addition to this, the contend of analyzing report, which is created to analyze the model construction identified by the results of preliminary works done in this section, is dealt with. In the third chapter, the chapter of findings and critics, the findings gained from model construction are stated and these findings are contrastively criticized with the informations in literature. In the fourth chapter, the informations gained from these studies are stated. Key words: Glued laminated timber, timber structural material, structural systems
