| Summary: Although there are lots of studies related to the ethos and practice of architecture in Turkey, lack of the ethos and practice of architecture in Trabzon is noticed. The starting point and the problem realm have been determined as the activity of architecture in Trabzon. After that, researches and assessments have been done on the ethos and practice of architecture and architects who perform as architecture in Trabzon. The assessment includes the 20 actors which have offices in Trabzon. The time interval of study has been specified from 1970, which is the establishment date of Chamber of Architects in Trabzon, to 2014. The actors, the ethos, the practice of architecture in Trabzon have been selected to constitute data about these titles. In the first part of the study, the ethos, the practice, the education and the organisation of architecture in Turkey which are related to being architect and doing architecture in Turkey have been cited in this study. In the second part of the study the ethos of architecture in Trabzon, the member registrations in the Branch of the Chambers of Architecture in Trabzon have been evaluated on the interviews done with architectures.The three main methods have been used in this study. The first one is qualitative analysis method for composing the theory text, the second one is quantitative analysis method for collecting and evaluating of the member registration in the Branch of the Chambers of Architecture in Trabzon, the third one is the interviews which are means of these two analyses methods.
