Summary:

This study analyzed some of the industrial accidents in forest industry sector except paper industry.

The strategies of industrial accidents prevention are oriented towards the individual case.

There are many different ways to improve working conditions, many regard the safety of the machinery and the working process itself, others are related to occupational health and safety measures like providing health-protective devices.

The research was carried out on a sample of 205 workers, 102 administrators and 62 plants. The statistical computations of the results made it possible to discern factors influencing industrial accidents.
