Summary:

The developments in the forest industry and the increase in the production increased the growth rates of the firms. Along with these increases, the targets that have to be realized in the administrations have changed and the operations that have to be done to reach these targets have increased. In this thesis study, the effect of the management processes established in the enterprises on the employees and the attitudes of the managers to the employees are evaluated.

In this context, a study was carried out in the lumber, corrugated board and furniture sectors operating in the forest industry in Istanbul and a total of 271 persons were surveyed. The survey were applied by the face-to-face survey method. In the survey, cross-tabulation and chi-square tests were applied and the judgments were concluded by comparing the employees according to their gender, age, marital status and positions in business.

In the study, no relation was found according to the comparison titles indicated in most of the judgments. The results of the judges which are related with comparison criteria are tabulated and table comments are made.
