| Summary: In the first part which includes the theoretical section of the study, the ecologic concept, traditional house and ecological factors of surroundings are investigated. Detailed information is given about traditional houses and residence component, climate as an ecological factor and the variations which occur by the effect of topography. In the application part, the ecological and entrance characteristics, outdoor and indoor relationships, residential crossings of the houses which were built in places having different climate conditions due to different ecological conditions were examined, analysis tables were prepared. Also the indoor-out door activities done in the houses were analyzed. With the help of data obtained by the analysis study, residential component and elements formed traditional house and its surroundings, suggestions were made about examining the ecological factors affected them and the need of getting in touch with to days houses.
