Summary:
Both species were exposed to certain amounts of salinity (0, 150, 300, 400 mM) throughout the study. Also, responses of the plants to the salinity stress were observed and tolerances of the species to the salinity were measured regarding the some variables. At the end of the study, species were compared with regard to the fresh and dried weight of the root, stem and leaves, the length of the shoots, root collar diameter, water keeping capacity of the leaves, root and stem, storing ratios of the plants the Na+ and Cl- ions which have toxic effects. Results were given in graphics and statistically.
